The Carbon Dinos lost their Region 12 finale Friday night in Nephi to a pesky Juab team, 64-53. Carbon beat Juab 61-42 back on Jan. 22.
The loss wrapped up the #3 seed in the upcoming 3A playoffs for the Dinos, which begin on Saturday. Carbon will take on #2 seeded Logan in Logan at 7 p.m. The Grizzlies finished the season 15-7 overall with a 6-2 Region 11 record.
Kyle Quinton led the Dinos against the Wasps with 15 points. It was his highest offensive output since Jan. 12 when he had 21 against Canyon View. Peyton Fausett, Jamin Jensen and Brad Williams all finished with eight points apiece.
Carbon finished the regular season with 12-11 overall record and a 3-5 clip in Region 12 action.
