Strong support from the community made the Just For Brylee fundraiser a success on Monday night. Local cheer and dance companies performed for a packed audience who came to support a young girl with a terminal disease.
Brylee Olson was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) in March. DIPG is a brain tumor with a 100% fatal prognosis. Since being diagnosed with the disease, Olson’s family has ensured that the young girl lives as many dreams as she can in her short life.
During the past nine months, the Olson family has accrued many medical expenses. Several fundraisers have been conducted to assist with these costs and Just For Brylee was one such event. In the end, the cheer and dance showcase raised $2,659.
