The Carbon County Event Center was reserved for a very special event over the weekend: the 6th Annual What a Woman Wants Expo.
Each year, this expo gains momentum and has become a staple to the community. Hosted once yearly, this expo benefits the USU Eastern cosmetology department.
Local vendors, chains and food trucks flocked to the center to enjoy this special event on Friday and Saturday. Highly anticipated each year are the manicures, pedicures and more provided by the cosmetology department, which had event-goers flocking to the students.
The event was amped up higher this year with more fashion shows, contests, makeovers and more hosted. Vendors such as Edgy Bling, Maurice’s, The Pampered Chef, Castleview Hospital, Wellness Within and more welcomed visitors on both days.
Also during the event, attendees were given the chance to purchase Mike Ballard Memorial Fundraiser raffle tickets, witness multiple fashion shows from Maurice’s and local clothing shops, and enjoy delicious food.
