A bye in the first round of the 3A Volleyball Championships advanced Carbon to the second round on Wednesday. The #3 Lady Dinos were pitted against #14 Juab on Wednesday morning at Utah Valley University.
Carbon came out strong with a 25-18 win in the opening set. Juab fought back in the second, but the Lady Dinos pulled through with the 25-11 victory. The Blue and White capped off the game with an easy 25-17 win in the third set to sweep the game 3-0.
With the win, Carbon advances to the quarterfinals against #6 Union on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Stream the game online by clicking here.
