The Carbon Lady Dinos’ record sits at 5-2, thanks in large part to three wins in St. George over the weekend.
The team took part in the March Warm-Up Elite Tournament in St. George on Friday and Saturday. They also had a Thursday tilt against Pine View on Thursday, which they won 11-9.
On Friday, Carbon kicked off the tourney with an 8-2 loss to Cedar. The Lady Dinos bounced back with wins over Skyline, ID, 13-2 and Coconino, AZ, 7-1.
Then on Saturday, Carbon earned the 13-7 win against Kearns before losing the championship game to Enterprise, 13-3.
The Lady Dinos got home runs from Cali Fossat, Kinley Nelson and Dekoda Kraushaar.
Carbon (5-2, 0-0 Region 12) will take on Grand Tuesday in Moab.
