The Pinnacle Lady Panthers have yet to win a region game. They were on a road trip to Whitehorse and Monticello this past week and are still in search for their first region win.
Whitehorse shutout the Lady Panthers in the first quarter to gain a quick 21-0 lead. Things did not improve for Pinnacle as it was again blanked in the third quarter and went on to lose 66-17. Steph Sasser led the team with eight points and 19 rebounds as well as six blocks.
Things started off just as slow in the following game against Monticello. The Lady Buckaroos screamed past the Lady Panthers for the 50-18 win.
Pinnacle (5-17, 0-9 Region 19) has one more chance to win a region game this year and it comes on Friday as they face their rivals, Green River (3-14, 1-7 Region 19), in Price.
