Green River welcomed Pinnacle for a rivalry game on Tuesday evening. Each team was looking for its first region win of the season.
The Lady Pirates gained the upper hand and emerged triumphant in front of their home crowd. They more than doubled up the Lady Panthers in the 48-20 victory.
Up next, Green River (3-12, 1-5 Region 19) will host another home game against Monument Valley (12-4, 4-1 Region 19) on Friday.
The Panthers (5-13, 0-5 Region 19) will have two more chances this week at home to get in the region win column. Whitehorse (12-4, 4-1 Region 19) will come into Price on Thursday and then Monument Valley (12-4, 4-1 Region 19) will follow suit on Saturday.
