The Lady Spartan Volleyball team took to the net three times over the weekend in their attempts at victory in the 2016 State 2A Volleyball Tournament at Utah Valley University.
Friday, Emery took the first match against Layton Christian. The opposing team opened strong in the first, taking it 25-22 after which Emery turned on the heat to take the next three 25-17, 25-22 and 25-18.
Later that day, the Lady Spartans couldn’t keep up their winning work against Enterprise and fell after just three sets.
Saturday morning found a similar situation as North Sevier sent the Lady Spartans home after three.
