Emery had a В difficult time getting warmed up and ready to play, this might be due to the fact that they were awake early, and on a bus for two hours.
In the first period Emery scored very little, but Kelsey Cox made some impressive three point shots to get Emery on the board, at the end of the first the score was 17-10 with North Sevier easily pulling ahead.
In the second the Lady Spartans finally woke up, at the end of the half Emery only trailed North Sevier by six points. North Sevier: 30 Emery: 24.
Throughout the third Emery closed the gap between and made a great come back. The team was playing well, but as Shelby Allred rebounded the ball, she lost her footing and damaged her ankle and wasn’t able to resume play.
The fourth was exciting as Emery made their way around North Sevier’s lead, not only did they step up their defense, but their offensive play became impressive. Throughout the fourth Emery scored 21points taking an unbeatable lead. Another injury took Ashlin Allred out of the game.
The final score was Emery: 56, В North Sevier: 44
