This year’s Emery County Fair Farm Bureau Kid’s Rodeo will feature chicken chasing, mutton bustin’, stick horse racing and much more. Kids 12 and under are invited to test out their farm skills and maybe catch a chicken or two.

The Farm Bureau Kid’s Rodeo is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 25. However, the young cowboys and cowgirls can come a bit early for some rodeo training. Starting at 4 p.m. local rodeo kids will be hosting a “Learn to be a Cowboy” demonstration.

They’ll teach up-and-coming cowboys and girls how to rope, run barrels and other rodeo tricks.
