Fossil Rock Resources, LLC, 9815 South Monroe Street, Suite 203, Sandy, Utah 84070 has filed an application for the addition of the Cottonwood SITLA Leases under the laws of the State of Utah and the U.S. Office of Surface Mining.
Approval of this application will allow coal mining operations at the Fossil Rock Mine to continue within the additional lands of the Cottonwood SITLA Leases ML-51191 OBA and ML-51192 OBA. The lands on which mining is to continue are located in Emery County. The mine portals are located 11 miles northwest of Orangeville, Utah, within Section 25, Township 17 S., Range 6 E. The leases involve all or part of the following Sections which have been assigned to Fossil Rock Resources, LLC.
