Carbon pitcher Jarod Lessar was one walk away from a perfect game yesterday at North Sanpete. He had to settle for a no-hitter instead.
The no-hitter was the second thrown this year by a Carbon pitcher. Dakota Cisneros threw a perfect game at South Sevier March 13.
Kayden Feichko and Mike Peczuh hit homeruns in the 14-0, five-inning blowout. Bryce Blackburn double three times. The Dinos tallied 14 hits in the game.
The two teams will play again Friday.
