Linda K. Byrge Cramer

Born on April 25, 1957, the oldest daughter of Elnora Brown-Byrge and Luke Byrge, Linda passed away quietly in her sleep on the morning of May 25, 2016. She had been visiting her sister in Pueblo West, CO.

Linda was born in Price, Utah and grew up in Kenilworth, Utah. She moved to Idaho, where she went to high school. She also met Kern Cramer while in Idaho, they later divorced. Linda moved back to Utah and studied for and received her GED. Linda later med Chet Finlay, who would become the love of her life. Linda and Chet were like two peas in a pod and they spent the very best of their years together in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

Linda had such a gift with animals of all kinds, from deer, horses and dogs to rabbits and snakes, Linda never left any kind out and she spent as much of her time as she could feeding, training and loving on them – tame as well as the wild. She fed 5 generations of skunks and raccoons and named them all.

Linda never knew a stranger and her kindness, wit, humor and wisdom will be greatly missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mark and Dirley Dyrge and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Nettie Brown. Linda was also preceded in death by her father, Luke Byrge, whom she adored. Chet passed away 5 days after Linda on June 1, 2016. She is survived by her mother, Elnora Clark (John Polito), East Carbon, UT; her sister Debbie (Dan) Bumgarner, Pueblo West, CO.; her brother, Luke Byrge (Stefani Jackson), East Carbon, UT; very special nephew, Nick Pacheco, Pueblo West, CO; and so many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
