Fourth grade students from Bruin Point Elementary enjoyed a visit from Living Planet Aquarium on Tuesday. Employees from the aquarium also brought some friends with them to introduce to the students.
Students had the chance to learn about many animals, including snakes, during the presentation. Aquarium workers even brought along a couple of snakes to show the children.
The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium located in Draper is home to 2500 animals representing 450 species. According to the aquarium’s website, the entity provides living “classrooms” that immerse people in natural ecosystems, bridging the gaps between education, entertainment and conservation to help people understand and appreciate their connection to the global system of life.
