History was made Thursday evening as, for the first time in over thirty years, local musician Sherrie Vlamakis signed her first autograph.

The local singer was joined by fellow vocalist Kristy Woodhouse and, together, entertained the crowd for a two-hour concert with a blend of country and time-proven classics as part of Price City’s summer-long Culture Connection series.

The night was full of numbers that had attendees tapping their toes and having an overall good time. The duo took turns at the mic and also sang several duets as well as the finale, which featured one of Woodhouse’s daughters.

The concert series is hosted by Price City and takes place every Thursday night at the Price City Peace Gardens at 7 p.m. Next week’s concert will feature Fire at Will, a band that specializes in rock and pop tunes.

The series is supported by the generous sponsorship of Castleview Hospital, Loveless Ash, Waste and Water Logistics, Sutherlands and USU Eastern.
