A man was arrested early Sunday morning after stabbing a Price resident following an attempt to burglarize the person’s residence.
Dispatch received a call regarding the incident at 3:15 a.m. According to Price City Police Chief Kevin Drolc, Milo Lamar Mitchie, 43, allegedly attempted to enter the Price resident’s garage. When the resident heard the commotion and confronted Mitchie, a struggle ensued. Mitchie stabbed the man in the leg before fleeing the scene.
Mitchie was later located by Price City officers following a foot chase and was booked into the Carbon County Jail for aggravated burglary, escape, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
The victim was taken to Castleview Hospital for treatment.
