The Pinnacle Panthers continued their winning ways Wednesday evening at Altamont, beating the Longhorns 67-50 in the non-region affair.
Noah Mascarenas co-led all scorers in the game with 19. He is averaging 14.3 points per game on the season. Two other Panthers scored in the double figures, Val Acosta with 14, and Kaden Daughters chipped in 10. Jon Giddings and Levi Rutherford pitched in nine and eight points, respectively.
Pinnacle scored a season high 26 points in the fourth quarter to run away with the win. It was the largest point total scored in any quarter so far this season.
Pinnacle (3-1, 0-0 Region 19) is in the midst of a four-game road trip. The Panthers will travel to play Region 18’s Dugway (0-1, 0-0 Region 18) on Friday.
