Following the crowning of the 2025 Mini, Little and Junior Miss Emery County, the time came to discover the 2025 Miss Emery Teen and Miss Emery County on Wednesday evening.
This year, the event was hosted in the gymnasium of San Rafael Middle School. The evening began with the National Anthem, which was sung by Brooklynn Seely, followed by a production number and special performances from the newly-crowned Little Miss Emery 2025, Saylor Huntington, and TaiLynn Minchey, the 2024 Miss Emery Teen.
The contestants for the 2025 Miss Emery Teen were Charly Cordner, Addison Johansen, Avey Beagley, Ryleigh Whimpey, Peyton Oman and Charley Jackson. The contestants for Miss Emery County were Charity Jewkes, Haivyn Pitchforth, Lana Kelley, Teya Anderson, Harlee Robinson and Jessamyn Ashby.
To start off, the contestants were asked to present their Community Service Initiative (CSI)/hot topics. The newly-crowned Junior Miss Emery, Makenzi Cheshire, then gave special performance before the contestants were welcomed back out for the talent competition.
This year’s talent was showcased in a myriad of ways, including pointe-ballet, a violin solo of the Ashokan Farwell, jazz dance, a piano rendition of Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter and more. Before the girls showed off their very best in the evening gown competition, 2024 Miss Emery Kelsey Norton gave a special performance.
Mini Miss Emery 2025 Tatynn Cosby gave a performance before Minchey and Norton each had their own farewell walk. Finally, it was time for the crowning of the 2025 Teen and Miss Emery County.
In the superlatives, Addison Johansen was named as the winner for the ticket sales award, while Peyton Oman received the Spirit of Miss Emery award. Avey Beagley was named the runner-up for Miss Teen Emery, before Ryleigh Whimpey was crowned for the 2025 year.
For Miss Emery Teen 2025, Haivyn Pitchforth was given the sash and crown, while Teya Anderson was named as the first runner-up.
