The Morgan Trojans handed the Carbon Dinos an early exit in the 3A Playoffs Friday night, whipping the overmatched visiting team 86-49.
Led by the state’s second leading scorer, Jake Miles, Morgan outscored Carbon 70-32 through the first three quarters en route to the convincing win. Miles scored a game-high 25 points, including five three-point baskets.
Derek Young led the Dinos with 17 points and added a fast break dunk in the fourth quarter (watch the video below). Michael Peczuh added 11.
The game was broadcast live on ETV Channel 10.
