Mountain America Credit Union celebrated its grand opening Saturday with an official ribbon cutting. The Price branch opened its doors welcoming Carbon and Emery residents to conduct their financial services with the community oriented credit union branch.
President/CEO of Mountain America Credit Union Sterling Nielsen explained that the branches location on Main Street in Price is only a temporary facility.
“We have already purchased land on 100 North and plan to build a facility as soon as it is feasible,” explained Nielsen.
The credit union has over 50 locations throughout several different states, most of which are located in Utah. During the ribbon cutting it was mentioned that several local residents have been long time credit union members despite the absence of an area branch. This was a strong factor in the decision to locate the newest Mountain America Credit Union in Price.
Dedicated to serving its members, Mountain America welcomed residents to it’s newest location with a barbecue and prizes.
