William “Will” Laursen dedicated the Desert Wave Pool flag pole Thursday completing his eagle project. He had worked on the project since October.
The flag that now sits atop the pole was flown over the Nation’s Capital on President’s Day.
Laursen expressed his appreciation to those who helped and contributed to the project.
“There are many others who didn’t want their names on the plaque and I just wanted them to know that I appreciated their help,” he said.
The 13-year-old Laursen is a member of Troop 296.
