Members, family and alumni gathered in the Carbon High auditorium to celebrate two anniversaries: 30 years of Nonstop Dance Company and 50 years of Linda Johnstun teaching dance. The audience enjoyed 30 different dance numbers with a grand finale of the whole cast.
Lasting 90 minutes each night on Friday and Saturday, the show included performances from every age group as well as solo performances by Brianna Sweet, Katarina Mantis, Aajah Brienholt and Chantyl Henrie. There was also a slideshow of the last 50 years of dance, accompanied by a vocal solo from Addy Taylor.
Returning alumni members performed a number called “Celebrate.” Father figures also participated in “The Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” Other numbers used modern or classic songs like “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Little Old Lady from Pasadena.”
