NOTICE

Scofield Town is hiring a part-time employee to perform a variety of town functions. Hours per week will vary, depending on town needs. An important aspect of this position will be the ability to be on-call and available outside regular business hours to respond to urgent situations. 

This position will include, but may not be limited to, repairs and maintenance of town building and other town properties (including light janitorial duties), back-up waste water hauling, qualified water and sewer line installation and service that meets code requirements, and Blue Stakes marking.

Qualifications to be considered for the position include; available 24 hours a day for occasional emergency town situations and waste water hauling, proficient excavation and backhoe experience, current CDL license, water and sewer line knowledge and experience, and must have waste water operator certification or be willing to obtain it within 6 months of hire date. 

Compensation for the position is $18.00 per hour with $40.00-$50.00 per load for waste water haul.
