The following information has just been received from the Emery County Sheriff’s Office:
Members of the Rhino Mine Rescue Team have recovered the body of the second coal miner involved in today’s cave-in. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family.
Investigation of the mine cave-in will be conducted by MSHA.
Details have not yet been released regarding the first mine worker rescued.
