The Matt Warner Chapter of the E. Clampus Vitus have been gifted an exciting donation for auction. The donation is an original painting by David Richey Johnsen, who has some of his work included at Universal Studios, Sony and more.
Johnsen is credited as an artist that rejects the avant-garde influences of recent decades and instead creates with a unique synthesis of color, movement and story.
The painting that is being auctioned will benefit the Clampers’ annual Sub for Santa program. Tickets are available for $10 each from any Clamper, or at the Clamper Hall located at 262 South Main Street in Helper.
The drawing for the painting will be hosted on the final night of the annual An Evening with Scrooge event, which takes place in December.
