The Castle Country Outlaws Cheer Team has plenty to cheer about, including upcoming try-outs.
In their first year competing, the Outlaws brought home three big wins. They clenched first place at the Championship in Salt Lake City on March 2, first place at the “At the Border” meet in St. George on April 6, and first place at Nationals Competition at Lagoon on May 4.
The team is led by coaches Isabelle Chavez and Bekah Moore. “I am so proud of the team’s hard work,” Chavez says. “When they really wanted something, they would do it as a team. I’m also excited to see what the new season will bring. I am excited to see new athletes, new parents.”
Try-outs for the Outlaws team is June 3 though June 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day at the gym, 27 North 1st West in Price. Ages 4 and up can try out, and registration is $45. Everyone who tries out will be placed on a team; try-outs are simply to help with placement.
