The Panthers had a pair of back-to-back home games before the Thanksgiving break. First, they hosted Wendover on Tuesday before welcoming Altamont on Wednesday.
Pinnacle struggled to find consistency against Wendover. The Panthers were competitive in the first and third quarters but were blown out it the other two. Wendover outscored Pinnacle 25-7 in the second and 27-8 in the fourth to take the matchup 84-41. Ben Scott lit up the stat sheet with 11 points, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.
Altamont also found success on the following day. The Longhorns held a slim 12-9 lead after one quarter. Pinnacle kept things close but trailed 26-22 at half. The Panthers never could find an edge in the second half and fell 63-53.
Pinnacle (1-2) will be back on the road to play Gunnison Valley (1-1) on Dec. 4.
