The Pinnacle Panthers traveled to compete against the West Ridge Academy Fighting Eagles on Tuesday. After one quarter of play, Pinnacle was down 14-12. The Panthers stayed in the game with a strong offensive second quarter and cut down the lead to trail by only one at halftime, 32-31.
The Fighting Eagles did just that in the third quarter, fought. They came out strong and were able to pad their lead to seven points going into the final quarter. The Panthers were not going to give up though and scratched and clawed their way back. They outscored the Fighting Eagles by 11 points in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback win, 66-62.
Five Panthers finished the game in double-digits. Athony Madrigal and Benjamin Scott each had double-doubles. Madrigal recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds while Scott had 14 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Jaxson Carlisle led the Panthers with 16 points while Riley Wilson and Landen Hardy each finished with 10 points apiece.
