Pinnacle Canyon Academy hosted senior night for the Lady Pathers volleyball team on Tuesday evening. The Panthers played the Whitehorse Raiders and capped off senior night with a win, 3-1.
The Raiders came close in the first set but the Panthers stayed ahead with a score of 25-23. Pinnacle remained on top in the second set, scoring 25-18. Whitehorse pulled forward and won the next set, 25-15. The Lady Panthers kept pushing and took the fourth set, 25-21.
The seniors were then honored in front of friends, family and classmates. Zoey Kocks, Brielle Motte and Kylee Vanwagoner were spotlighted for their dedication to the team.
The Panthers now have to prepare for the 2018 UHSAA 1A Volleyball Championship. They will be playing their first round against Diamond Ranch Academy at 8 a.m on Oct. 26 in Orem at Utah Valley University.
