Ferron City Peach Days have no qualms about holding on to old traditions, and one of those old traditions is the annual horseracing event.
George Brinkerhoff’s winning ride on Red State in the Millsite Mile race gave him the all-time wins lead for Peach Days races. The win was Brinkerhoff’s fourth.
Races included quarter-mile races for quarter horses, and thoroughbreds ran five furlongs and the Millsite Mile.
