On March 23, Pineau’s Tumbling and Trampoline team traveled to Mesquite, Nev. for a state qualifying meet.
The team was successful in placing in three categories; power tumbling, trampoline and double mini trampoline. Faithlynne McBride received first place in all three categories followed closely by Tylee Jensen and Naomi Mathis who both secured two first and one second place.
Rickelle Collins placed first, first and third followed by Brittanie Longmore, who secured first, second and fourth. Mackenna Payton placed first, third and sixth while Kambryn Iriart secured first and two fourth places.
Audacee Eden won two second places and a fourth while Indie Pikyavit placed in second and two third place wins.
The team also placed at the Helper meet that took place on April 5. First place spots went to Jensen, Brylei Velasquez, Eden, Mattingly Wilson, Ireland Keil and Mathis.
Second place finishes went to Dustey Prettyman, Payton, Makaya Vigor, Casadie Wilkenson, Gianna Valdez and Kashley Rhodes. Briella Shields and Nolan Neilson secured third place spots while scoring rounded out with Flynn and Kayson Nielson in fourth place.
