The Panthers had a game on Wednesday against Bryce Valley, a team that they beat 8-1 earlier in the season at home.
Pinnacle struck first and had a three-run lead in the third inning but it was all Mustangs from then on out. Bryce Valley scored one in the third, four in the fourth, six in the fifth and two more in the sixth to take the 13-3 victory.
The Mustangs held the Panthers to only three hits. Jakai Ellington had one of those hits and drove in two runs for Pinnacle.
Pinnacle (3-9, 0-6 Region 19) is still looking for its first region win and will get another chance on Friday when it hosts Valley (10-3, 4-2 Region 19).
