Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation invited members of the community to the facility on Wednesday afternoon as staff celebrated the Ensign Flag award. The room echoed with talking and laughter while many people were present for the event, which featured speakers, food and camaraderie as those in attendance celebrated the prestigious award.
“This is an honor bestowed to skilled nursing facilities who demonstrate quality care and customer service above and beyond the normal regulated standards,” staff shared. “It includes high ratings on surveys of employees, patients and patient family members.”
The flag was awarded to Pinnacle Nursing and Rehab because of the quality care and customer service at the center. It was explained that Pinnacle was given high ratings on surveys of the employees who work there, the patients who reside and their families. There were also highlights on the safe environment at Pinnacle.
“It also encompasses excellence in safety, culture and community census,” staff continued. “Due to the high set standards required for the Ensign Flag award, only a handful of those nursing facilities who apply for the honor are selected to receive it.”
It was an honor, as was mentioned by those present at the event, to have the award bestowed to Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation. The staff at Pinnacle acknowledged all the partners and families who helped them achieve the goal of receiving such a prestigious award.
“The Pinnacle staff want to acknowledge our partners and families who helped make this dream of ours a reality,” Pinnacle staff shared. “We want to recognize the vital role each team member played.”
