Rivals teams Green River and Pinnacle met on the volleyball court on Tuesday in Price. The Lady Panthers drew first blood by winning 25-22. Green River immediately struck back by taking the second set 25-21.
The third set was extremely close but the Lady Pirates came out ahead 25-23. They would ride that momentum to a 25-21 fourth set win and take the match 3-1 to remain undefeated in region.
Pinnacle (3-11, 0-1 Region 19) will remain at home when it plays Monument Valley (5-1, 1-1 Region 19) on Saturday.
The Lady Pirates (7-2, 3-0 Region 12) will be on the road yet again on Friday against Tabiona (12-8, 2-1 Region 12).
