KUSA Radio will host its first-ever pizza auction Saturday benefitting both a local charity and person.

Proceeds will go toward the Mike Ballard Golf Tournament and to Shirley Stubbs.

Here’s how it will go:

Citizens may purchase or create their own pizzas with the radio station acting as auctioneer. A prize must also be included with the pizza.

One can make or purchase pizzas from the following businesses: Swift Stop & Shop in Helper, Market Express, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and Big Don’s Pizza. Emery Telcom has also donated a supreme pizza from Pizza Hut and a free month of cable.

Community members may then call and bid on a pizza and prize or may call and donate a pizza.

Call Frank Ori at 636-3702 or Rose Barnes at 636-3290 for information on how to donate a pizza. Those wishing to bid may call KUSA studios at 637-1080 on Saturday from 10-2 p.m. To listen to the auction, tune in to 100.1 FM.
