Press Release
The Prehistoric Museum presents Memorial Day on Monday, May 27. Admission is free all day.
Come explore the newest exhibitions in the Prehistoric Museum. Learn about Jurassic dinosaur life, including eggs, growth and injuries. Soaring above our beloved Allosaurus are two new pterosaurs. Nearby, you’ll find a crocodile discovery and a mural that immerses visitors in the Jurassic world.
Our newest addition is a large diorama of the Pennsylvanian period. It hosts an array of colorful animals from the coral reefs of Moab, Utah. A Cambrian case features 500 million year old fossils of the first complex animal forms in Utah. Don’t miss the special exhibit “Making Sense of Archaeology.” It has lots of cool 3D printed touch artifacts related to Utah history. The special exhibition is located on the second floor of the museum and runs through Saturday, June 1.
We hope to see you here!
