Tuesday night, the Price City Council presented two local students with an academic scholarship. After receiving many applications, the lucky students were Amy Ardon and Shantel Hardy. Applicants were asked to submit a two page essay, explaining their past, current, and future plans for community service in Price, their current college courses and career aspirations, as well as how their career goals will improve the city.
Both girls have many plans for service projects and ideas to improve the city of Price. They were both awarded a $650 scholarship to be used for tuition, books, or school supplies. The Mayor, Joe Piccolo personally awarded Amy and Shantel В their certificates.
