The Price City Library will be hosting a new program March 1 designed to help local teens create applications for Android phones.
App Academy 4 Teens will offer the opportunity for teens ages 13-18 to learn the basics of programming mobile apps for Android devices. iPhone and iPad apps are not allowed.
Those interested need to apply online at www.aa4t.com.
Local teen Michaela Fossat said she already has an Android phone and is looking forward to the class.
“I was thinking about signing up for the class,” she said. “It seems like it would be a lot of fun to design and app for my phone considering I have an Android phone.”
Moki Networks of Utah County is supporting the program. Only 15 spots are available. Teens from Carbon and Emery County are encouraged to sign up.
