Price City Police Department Press Release
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, Price City Police Officer Robertson, Detective Bates, Detective Salyer, Detective Judd and Sgt. Maynes talked with all the elementary classes at Pinnacle Canyon Elementary about “Stranger Danger.”
The department was asked by Principal Jepson to have officers ask to present helpful ways for students to stay safe. The officers took turns speaking with different classes, grades kindergarten through fifth grade about such things as what a stranger is, what to do if a stranger approaches you and offers a gift, using the buddy system, what to do if you get lost or separated from your parents, what to do if you’re home alone and someone comes to the door, and how to be safe on Halloween.
