Judy Jones suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2:52 p.m. on Highway 6 at mile post 270. Jones, 51, was traveling west when wind turbulence from a passing vehicle caused her to lose control. The motorcycle went off the right edge of the roadway and struck a guardrail. Jones was thrown from the motorcycle, striking the guardrail. She was pronounced dead on scene.
Jones was reported to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The accident was handled by the Utah Highway Patrol.
