Many hands made light work Tuesday afternoon at the Price City Library as the library moved forward in its plans to convert the basement to a more youth-friendly area.
Members of Boy Scout Troop 997 were in attendance along with one of their leaders to assist in the work, which included preparing the area for paint.
“They worked so hard,” Bob Tanner, chairperson of Friends of the Price City Library expressed. “It was amazing how fast they finished.”
The Friends of the Price City Library continues to make headway with their plans for the renovation. After the painting is finished, new carpet will be installed, for which bidding has just started.
