The Emery County Public Lands Council discussed Tuesday hopes that the two-and-a-half-year-old land usage bill would receive State approval shortly.
The deliberate pace has the Emery County bill ahead of all others in the state. The next step would be to meet with state officials to discuss the bill’s process.
One important factor in moving the bill forward is that no negative written comments regarding the bill have been submitted. That fact should help expedite the process.
