On April 14, Green River, Pinnacle and Monticello met at the Carbon Country Club for another Region 23 competition. Monticello continued to impress with wins for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.
The Buckaroos recorded a 386 round with Green River in second with 469 and Pinnacle in third with 572. The Pirates were led by Garrett Guerrera with score of 113 followed by Joe Voller (116), Ryker Meadows (120), Travis Hales (120) and Camden Andersen (120). The Panther scorers were Jaxon Cranford (129), Raymond Winder (135), Nathan Behunin (152) and Karder Anderson (156).
On the girls’ side, the Lady Buckaroos beat out the Lady Panthers 441-490. Avree Atwood had the low score for Pinnacle at 103. She was followed by Ashlyn Behunin (127), Persephone Jones (127) and Darolani Mott (133). The Lady Pirates comprised of Abby Erwin with a 131 score and Kassidy Lehnhoff with a 134.
Up next, Region 23 will meet at Hideout on Friday.
