Carbon County is accepting proposals from certified public account firms to provide auditing services to Carbon County. The selected firm will timely prepare and submit the annual audit required by Utah Code Annotated section §17-36-36, 37 and 38. The auditing firm will also provide consulting to County from time to time as requested by County. Firms interested in submitting a proposal should include qualifications, experience and credentials of firm members anticipated to lead the auditing team. Firms shall also provide proof of liability insurance at the time of their proposal. Billing rates for partners, associates and staff should be included in the proposal.
The County desires to enter into a one-year contract with an option to extend the contract for two additional years. Therefore, proposals should include pricing for the 2021 tax year alone, together with pricing for an additional two years, to be exercised at the County’s option.
Proposals are due at the Carbon County Clerk’s office at 751 East 100 North, Ste 1100, Price Utah 84501, prior to 5:00 p.m., November 2, 2021. Clearly indicate on the outside of the sealed envelope “Auditing Proposal”.
