The Scofield Reservoir Special Service District is seeking proposals for a contract for the monitoring, reporting and repair of sewage lift pumps and septic tanks for recreational cabin subdivisions in the Pleasant Valley area of Carbon County, and for the performance of maintenance and occasional minor repairs on the same. The pumps to be monitored and maintained are in the Town of Clear Creek and the seven cabin communities surrounding Scofield Reservoir, including Scofield West, Singleton, Campsite, Bolotas, Forester, Pannier, and Helsten. Pumps must be read once a week during the year. The chosen Contractor must be able to read lift station controlled communication panels and must be able to respond to any system outage or emergency. Contractor must provide his own vehicle and tools and storage space for District pumps.
The contract shall be awarded to the contractor best able to provide the services requested at a reasonable rate. In awarding the contract, the Special Service District Control Board will consider past performance for the Control Board; ability to provide all services listed in this bid; experience, training and familiarity with pumps, septic system repairs, and sewage and plumbing systems generally, with a Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber license preferred; and the compensation requested for the services provided. The contract shall be for a term of four years, and may contain automatic renewal clauses.
Proposals shall be submitted to the Special Service District at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah, no later than February 18, 2020, and shall be plainly marked with the name and address of the bidder and shall bear the words “SRSSD System Maintenance Bid”. Proposals will be opened publicly at a Special Meeting of the Scofield Reservoir Special Service District on February 22, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. held at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah. A contract may be awarded at that date or at a later time.
