Members of the community gathered at Pioneer Park in Price City to celebrate a ribbon cutting of the newly expanded disc golf course. The event was hosted by the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.
“The new disc golf course is the result of the hard and dedicated work of Eagle Scout Logan Engar,” Price City staff shared in a news release. “The project expands the USU Eastern course adjacent and makes a total of 18 holes for play.”
Nine of the holes in the course run along the main building of USU Eastern while two holes are adjacent to the school’s business building. Seven holes at Pioneer Park complete the course. Members of the community are welcome to use the course free of charge, 24/7.
Free discs were given away at the ribbon cutting so those in attendance could participate in a demonstration of the game.
