The Emery High auditorium was another stop on Santa’s list on Saturday as he was welcomed to the school for a breakfast with Santa event. This event was not only an opportunity for those in the community to enjoy a warm breakfast and the company of Santa Claus, but a fundraiser for Miss Emery Royalty.
Beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m., for only $5 a person those that attended were fed a hearty breakfast that consisted of pancakes, bacon, eggs and beverages. The members of the Emery County royalty not only rolled up their sleeves and personally prepared the food for all, they also provided entertainment once bellies were full.
The delicious food provided at the meal came in the form of a donation from Savage. Nearly $800 was raised during the event.
