The 2021 Scofield Pleasant Valley Days are slated to take place on the Fourth of July weekend. Beginning on Thursday evening, there will be afternoon vendors selling in the park.
On Friday and Saturday, vendors and food trucks will be in the park all day. Additionally, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, those participating in the parade will begin the line-up. The parade, with the theme “We Survived,” will begin at 11 a.m.
There will also be afternoon bingo, a silent auction, the Kiwanis duck race and a Pleasant Valley Days raffle drawing. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be supper provided by Round About Barbecue. The price of dinner for a pulled pork sandwich with sides and a drink is $10 and a brisket sandwich with sides and a drink is $12.
It was stressed that the traditional fireworks have been cancelled due to state and local restrictions.
Continuing the fun through Sunday, registration begins at 8 a.m. for the ATV/UTV Poker Run that is sponsored by KJ’s Catch ‘n’ Snack. This requires a $15 entry and will feature cash prizes for the top three poker hands and a raffle for more prizes after the ride.
