Tina Henrie, Carbon County Tourism Specialist, visited the commissioners during their Wednesday evening meeting to presented the August Tourism Super Service Award.
This award is a certificate of appreciation for a member of the community that provided customer service excellently. Henrie informed the commissioners that she lost count of how many nominations she received for this month’s winner. She reminded all that the winners are nominated by their peers and customers that frequent the area.
Henrie then shared quotes from those that nominated this month’s recipient, which is Scott Olsen from the North Springs Shooting Range. The comments ranged from speaking about how Olsen ensures that all have a safe and enjoyable experience to how friendly and welcoming he is and more.
Olsen was also gifted with a $50 Amazon gift card.
