The Southeastern Utah Energy Producers Agency hosted its Eighth Annual Banquet on Thursday at the Carbon County Events Center where local energy producers were honored.
David Zaccaria of Tram Electric was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Harmond Electric received the same honor.
SEUEPA Business President Rick Olsen said, “These are well deserving people in our community, and we want to honor them for their services and the jobs that they’ve provided with companies they have had for many years.”
Olsen said SEUEPA hosts the annual banquet to try to educate its members on energy industry changes.
“More than anything, we want to keep the members of our organization ahead of the curve as it relates to energy production and anything that could potentially hinder energy production in our area,” Olsen said.
Western Music Hall of Fame member Michael Martin Murphy provided entertainment at the event.
